  • Each class in the Autism provision rotate to access the gymnastic centre
  • Children will develop their gross physical skills.
  • Pupils’ sensory processing/ emotional regulation will be supported.
  • KH to monitor pupils progress from accessing this facility through evidence app
  • SCERTs targets met
  • EHCP targets met.
  • Staff to shadow gymnastics coach to pick up teaching points to work with children on during school sessions
  • Pupils gross motor skills will improve and enable them to engage in the curriculum and make progress.

Sports team kit  - hoodies

  • Each time our school attends an inter school competition – we now have a school set of team hoodies to wear.  This provides prestige and self-belief in the pupils and creates a sense of belonging
  • Increased interest in pupils wanting to attend inter school competitions

  • These hoodies will stay school property and reused each time by different pupils depending upon who is attending an event.

Sunshine events  - sports week resources large games

  • Children will have a wow moment when seeing this equipment – a memory for life taking part in fun games at school during sports week.

  • Pupils will be benefitting from physical therapy whilst taking part in activity which will in turn help their self-confidence and self-regulation in school.

  • All pupils will go home with a participation medal. This gives pupils a sense of achievement and pride.
